About This Game Rynn’s Adventure is a 2D platformer game in which the player guides Rynn through a variety of environments teeming with magic and danger. Fails to capture ecco's magic though. The backgrounds and character designs are nice but the stiff paperdoll animation is off putting. It looks like a flash game. That would be ok if the platforming controls were better but platform jumping just feels awkward. I don't get a sensation that my character is really there or really connecting with the enemies. Maybe its the fact that the characters and backgrounds dont look like they belong in the same universe. Can't recommend.. This is a great 'old school' platformer, reminds me of lots of great games from my childhood, but with better graphics. This game is hard, but that\u2019s the point. It\u2019s amazing that this is the first game this studio has released, can\u2019t wait to see what else they can do.. This is a great, addicting game. Love that each level is different with unique music. It is very challenging with the keyboard can't wait to try with a controller. I haven't beat a level yet but I keep coming back for the challenge. Still trying work my way through the levels, its almost like the dev knew where you were going to try and jump and placed bad guys there. I tried playing with just a keyboard, however it was too much of challenge.*Wired Gamepad recommended, you'll be thankful for the tether when throwing the gamepad.
